Repair of the rail lines crossing Kerr Street

The Town of Oakville has received an urgent request by Metrolinx to complete a repair to the rail lines crossing Kerr Street. The condition of the rails has required the reduction of speed of the trains in this area. This repair will be begin Friday November 10 at 8:00 P.M. and be completed by November 13 at 5AM.

This closure will be on Kerr Street from Wyecroft Road to Speers Road. During this closure the Region’s contractor will complete the feedermain crossing at the intersection of Speers Road and Kerr Street. Completing the crossing at this time will reduce the impact on the area as one closure will be required for two construction related activities.
