Oakville Santa Claus Parade! Saturday, November 21st - 9 am

Come celebrate Christmas in Oakville at the Santa Claus Parade! It starts at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 21st, Rain or Shine! Parade route: Lakeshore Rd. East to Kerr St. to Stewart St. See web site for map. http://www.oakvillesantaclausparade.ca/ For your convenience a Road Closure Map is attached below. The road closures take place early AM on Saturday, Nov 21st. Roads will re-open immediately after the parade.

WRRA 4th Annual Pumpkin Parade - Sunday, November 1st - 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Don your favourite costume and bring your carved pumpkins for fun with friends, neighbours and a parade of spooky pumpkins! Join your West River Residents Association at Westwood Park as they bring you coffee, hot chocolate and snacks. There are prizes for most creative pumpkins! Register at 6:30 pm. SCARE CRIME OUF OF HALTON AND 'FEED THE BEAST' SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST!

Crime Stoppers of Halton, in partnership with FileBank, is hosting a community shred fundraiser. This Halloween, scare crime out of Halton by eliminating the threat of identity theft. Feed your confidential documents to the Beast (FileBank's mobile shredding truck). It is $5 per grocery bag, $10 per banker's box and $15 per large box. Cash only. All proceeds directly support Crime Stoppers of Halton. The fundraiser will take place in Lot A (the South-West parking Lot) at the Halton Regional Centre (1151 Bronte Road, Oakville) from 9am – 3pm.
