Oakville Film Festival …RETURNING TO LIVE EVENTS FOR 2022!
OFFA presents Oakville’s only independent film festival – the Oakville Film Festival – each year in June. The 2022 festival, June 22-28th, will kick off as a HYBRID event, with mostly live screenings, several HYBRID screenings, and some virtual only events that are available internationally.
The 9th annual Oakville Film Festival boasts over 100 films over 7 days, including Canadian and regional premieres, independent films, documentaries, and short films. Make sure you stay for the Q&A after each film screening to elevate your film fest experience with direct audience access with artists and filmmakers. Some films are available both live, and virtually.
Calling All Food lovers, Taste of Oakville is Back!
Taste of Oakville will be returning this year and it’s bigger than ever. From February 15 to March 6, 2021, participating restaurants across Oakville, including Kerr Village, Bronte Village, and Downtown Oakville, will be offering prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus available for takeout and/or delivery. Taste of Oakville is the perfect opportunity to explore some of Oakville’s wonderful restaurants and help support local businesses.
Topics that will be addressed include: internal risk factors for conflict, bullying and harassment, how to build a healthy workplace culture, and mediation versus potential litigation.
